During the past season when the Sixers were struggling or playing with low energy, Thad Young was always the spark off the bench to ignite a late game Sixers run.
Young came in third place for the Sixth Man of the Year award averaging 12.7 points and shooting 54.1% from the field. Thad is so much fun to watch because he consistently uses his speed and athleticism to get open looks. Young also does a great job on the boards and knocking down open long range jumpers. The Sixers are very fortunate to have a guy like Young on their bench. Young is a spark who can change the momentum and overall course of a game.
Young just needs to do a better job of finishing around the rim. There were too many times during the regular season when he would miss a shot from point blank range. But you have to #showyaluv to Thad Young who recieves a B+ in my book.
Grade: B+
