Jodie Meeks came out of nowhere this year and was easily the Sixers best jump shooter.
With his high arching shot and quick release Meeks became the Sixers main threat from beyond the arc. He also became a starter and shot the ball well through out the year. The young sharp shooter did a good job all season of knocking down open 3's and hitting shots off of screens. Jodie averaged 10.5 points and was a solid scoring option. He made some clutch shots and at times provided the dagger when the Sixers clung to a slim lead.
But like any shooter Meeks was at times inconsistent. In order to gain even more playing time next year Meeks needs to be more consistent and find other ways to contribute when his jump shot isn't falling. Jodie also needs to do a better job of on defense if he wants to be a legitimate starter in this league. Overall Jodie was a pleasant surprise and I expect him to work had and have another strong season next year.
