Sixers Report Card: Lou Will

Lou Williams, better known by his team mates as Lou Will, had a great year for the Sixers averaging 13.7 points as the Sixers 4th leading scorer.

Through out the season the Sixers went to Williams in clutch situations and he consistently came through. Probably the biggest shot he made came in Game 4 of the series against the Heat when he drilled a 3 in D-Wade's face to force a Game 5 in Miami.

A pure and natural scorer, Williams found ways to drive to the hoop or get fouled when the Sixers were in desperate need of a bucket. Coming off the bench Lou was at times a great spark and momentum shifter.

Williams reminds me a lot of Allen Iverson in that they are both natural scorers and both have the ability to knock down tough off balanced shots. But like Iverson, Williams also struggles to get his team mates involved which is something he needs to get better at for next season.

Williams has the potential an overall natural ability to be a great player in this league. He just needs to become more polished and work on becoming a more balanced player.

Grade: B+
