Bring Back Andrews

According to multiple reports, the Giants and former Eagle offensive lineman Shawn Andrews will not agree to a new deal. Andrews will most likely be released by New York tomorrow and I think the Eagles should bring him back.

Even with the drafting of offensive lineman Danny Watkins, I still have my doubts about this offensive line. Bringing in Andrews would increase competition, and having a pro bowler as a guy who can step in if anyone gets injured is always a plus. Andrews also knows this offense and would have no problem readjusting with his former team.

Although it's unlikely, I feel the Eagles should at least consider bringing in the Big Kid. With Vick's aggressive style of play, protecting him is a top priority. Bringing in Andrews will at the very least give the Birds some depth.

If the Eagles could get Andrews at a relatively cheap price, I think they should do it. Andrews was a pro-bowler during his early years with the Eagles and he could still have something left in the tank.
