Phillies Close To Deal With Jimmy Rollins

According to Bucks County Courier Times reporter Kevin Cooney, "Phillies and Jimmy Rollins have agreed to terms. Announcement expected later today."

And Jim Duquette a MLB network analyst, reported that the Phillies and Rollins agreed to a deal. 

Obviously nothing is official yet and we will keep you updated if we hear anything further or hear anything official from the Phillies.

Jayson Stark recently tweeted, "Sources denying reports of any Phillies agreement with Jimmy Rollins."

Update 5:27 PM:

Jim Salisbury of csnphilly.com tweeted, "Sources on both sides say no Rollins deal yet."

I would say once Sailisbury confirms the deal can be declared "official".
