Sixers Kings Preview
Tonight at 10:00 the Sixers will look to win 2 in a row as they take on the Sacramento Kings. After beating the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night by a final of 104-94, the Sixers will look to go 2-2 on this road trip that will end tomorrow night in Portland. The Kings are the third worst team in the NBA with a dismal record of 16-50. Although the Kings are clearly a bad team, it’s important for the Sixers to not overlook this game. The Kings have lost 7 of their last 8 games, so they may be hungry for a victory especially at home. It’s important for the Sixers to win the easy games especially as they continue to fight for the 6th seed. In Wednesday’s victory, Jodie Meeks got a lot of minutes and contributed with 22 points. Tonight, look for Meeks to have another good game as he continues to see more time. Also since the Sixers are playing a poor team, look for rookie Evan Turner to get increased minutes. Doug Collins loves to get Turner playing time, and tonight would be the perfect opportunity to do just that.
