Today the Sixers announced that they had agreed to terms with center Tony Battie, a guy who until today, had never even heard of. In my mind, the Sixers still need to make a real move before the start of the season, and try and trade for or sign some real talent. Although I am not all that excited by this signing, I am happy that they got some size. Battie is 6-11, and if nothing else, he can stand out there and block shots on defense. I still have this feeling that the Sixers are lacking something, and they still need another player. There are still free agents available, and the Sixers definitely need to make some moves if they want to start winning games this year. If the Sixers don't want to make moves via free agency, they definitely have options if they want to make a trade. Andre Igudola, has been the subject of many trade rumors over the past few years, and I wouldn't be surprised if he got traded. The Sixers need to make a move, because the teams in their own division are starting to get better.
