Evan Turner and Lineup Possibilities

When it was official that the Sixers had drafted Evan Turner, the Sixers brought a new era of basketball to the city of Philadelphia. With Evan Turner and Jrue Holiday, the Sixers now have a young and very exciting backcourt for years to come. Evan Turner provides a bright ray of hope for this Sixers team in the coming years. With so many new additions, you may be thinking, what are some lineups that that Doug Collins can put together. I'll list a few for you. In the first lineup, you have Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner at the 1 and 2, Igudola and Young at the 3 and 4, and Elton Brand at the 5. This lineup, with the right coaching is extremely dangerous and is probably going to be the starting 5. Another lineup the Sixers can go with if they want to go big is Turner and Young at the 1 and 2, Igudola and Speights at the 3 and 4, and either Hawes or Brand at the 5. The Sixers can also go small by playing Lou Williams and Holiday at the 1 and 2, Turner and Young at the 3 and 4, and Speights at the 5. The possibilities with this team are endlesss. There are a million different lineup combinations that Doug Collins can use. The Sixers are going to have a lot of depth this year, and that is a huge luxury especially down the stretch. The Sixers do not rely on 1 guy heavily, they are balanced and have a lot of guys who can contribute. The Sixers just have to find the right combination of players, and when they do, I expect them to be extremely dangerous.
