The Flyers are currently sitting in first place in the Eastern Conference. Nearing the midway point, the Flyers are setting themselves up for yet another playoff run. With a big win in Detroit the other night, the Flyers look to gear up for a tough month of January in which they will face a lot division opponents including the Devils 3 times. Although the Devils have clearly had their struggles this year, they are always a tough division opponent for the Flyers. Right now the Flyers need to take it game by game and not get to ahead of themselves. A lot of veterans are hungry to get back to the playoffs and make another Stanley Cup run. It's good to be motivated and hungry for the playoffs, but there are still 43 games left and a lot of hockey yet to be played.
